Alessia Mandanici is an independent filmmaker holding an MFA in writing and directing from NYU Tisch School's Graduate Film Program. Being a multi-instrumentalist musician and a trained graphic designer strongly influences her aesthetic approach to telling her stories.
In 2023, she co-founded Holy Cannoli Films to share her passion and help other filmmakers tell their stories. She plans to share different types of writing on a blog in the future.
